Yesterday, our Managing Director had discussion with women part of ongoing sewing class intake 3.
This was to introduce the program and also clarify our expectations.
Women got opportunity to share their challenges that disturb their studies including lack of food, their children’s schools fees and materials, clothes, rent, insurance etc. Also, most of them, after graduating, they are afraid of going back to what they have been doing before joining REGIWO if no further empowerment done to grow their careers in sewing.
We are yet to launch other community projects to solve above identified issues, you would also play apart.
